    Consultant Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon BSc(Hons), MBBS(Hons), AKC, FRCS(Glas), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Plast), MBA


    Mr Dalvi Humzah is a Consultant Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon and has developed his aesthetic practice over 18 years to combine surgical and non-surgical procedures for his patients. He has a BSc in Anatomy and an MBA, he is fully registered with the General Medical Council and holds a licence to practice medicine; his name appears on their Specialist Register for PLASTIC SURGERY. Mr Dalvi Humzah is an award winning Tutor with a National and International presence in the field of Aesthetics. He has extensive experience in the management and treatment of non-surgical complications, performing non-surgical treatments for over 25 years. He is an internationally acclaimed expert facial anatomist and a recognised national and international tutor.

    Mr Dalvi Humzah has an active interest in teaching and training and has been a Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is an examiner for the Intercollegiate MRCS for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. He is currently a Regional Advisor for The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Mr Dalvi Humzah is a Global Key Opinion Leader for a number of companies in the Aesthetic Sector. He has published extensively while actively teaching, training and lecturing nationally and internationally. He is the Aesthetics Sub-Editor for PMFA News and is on the Editorial Advisory Board for Aesthetics. He holds Consultancy roles in the management of complications and provides advice to several aesthetic pharmaceutical companies and has been involved in the research and development of many injectable products. He has a keen interest in non-surgical rejuvenation and regularly teaches and lectures internationally on facial anatomy in relation to cosmetic rejuvenation with extensive experience in a variety of injectable products. Mr Dalvi Humzah is the Director and Lead Tutor of Medicos Rx and has developed the teaching programme for Aesthetic practitioners. The ‘Facial Anatomy Teaching’ has won ‘Best Training Category’ for 5 consecutive years at The Aesthetic Awards 2013-17. Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Clinical Training Courses has won ‘Best Training Training Program’ at MyFaceMyBody Awards 2016 as well as ‘Training Initiative of The Year’ at The Aesthetic Awards 2016.   • Anna Baker

    BN RGN INP PGCert (App.Clin.Anat.) PGCert (Clin.Ed.) Course Coordinator & Tutor


    Anna Baker is a Cosmetic and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner who has been involved in developing Facial Anatomy Teaching with Lead Tutor, Mr Dalvi Humzah, since it’s inception in 2012. Anna has worked alongside Mr Dalvi Humzah as a Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner for 5 years and has jointly run nurse-led cosmetic clinics with him. Anna has previously held a national injectable role for a group of cosmetic skin clinics and worked independently as a cosmetic nurse. In addition to these roles, she runs Topical Photodynamic Therapy Clinics to treat types of non-melanoma skin cancers.

    With a keen interest in Facial Anatomical dissection, Anna holds a post-graduate certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy-specialising in head and neck anatomy, and was recently awarded “Highly Commended” at the 2015 Aesthetic Awards in the “Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year” category. Anna is part of the Editoral Board for the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing and a Specialist Nurse Advisor for PMFA News and contributes anatomical articles to a number of aesthetic journals. She has presented at national aesthetic and anatomical conferences and has been a previous runner up for “Dermatology Nurse of The Year” at The British Journal of Nursing Awards in 2014. Anna has recently been awarded “Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year” at The British Journal of Nursing Awards 2016 and is undertaking an MA in Clinical Education at King’s College London. Anna is currently the only programme with a triple accreditation to the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME), Higher Education Academy & The Nursing & Midwifery Council. Anna has undertaken the NMC Teacher Compendium & Practice Educator module as part of this programme, and has recognised Teacher accreditation. Anna is a Board Member for The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and a trainer for Aesthetic Source and HA-Derma.  Anna has undertaken the ‘Training The Trainers Course’ at The Royal College of Surgeons Eng and was Highly Commended as ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year’ at the Aesthetic Awards 2016 and ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year’ at The Aesthetic Awards 2017.   • Hayley Allan

    BA (hons) Dip.Ed., M.Ed., M.Res., Cert. Couns. Skills., FHEA


    Hayley’s postgraduate teaching started in 1999 when she began as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University, tutoring on three of the MA courses in education. As a tutor Hayley facilitated face to face tutorials, supported students in open and distance learning and supervised many research projects. A second and third marker for the end of module assessments, Hayley gained a rich overview of the professional work of a wide range of students.

    Hayley began working with doctors in a faculty and professional development role when she took over the development and delivery of the Royal College of Surgeons Training the Trainers programme in 1996. Responsible for a number of new initiatives, including the creation and national roll out of the consultant based TAIP course for the Royal College of Surgeons, Hayley also provides Leadership workshops for the LETBs in London, having developed two courses in this area since 2009 and supports faculty and trainer development in a number of Trusts throughout the country in support of the GMC Recognition and Approval Project. Hayley wrote an e learning module for the London Deanery Professional Support Unit on Reflection and has also contributed to a module on Theories of Learning for a Masters in Medical Education with Keele University and FAIMER®. She is currently completing another e module on Professional and Personal Effectiveness. Hayley joined Kings Learning Institute in 2014 and leads the module Professional Development in the Workplace, the module on clinical education for the PG Certificate in Managing Healthcare with KCL and works as a consultant educator for the London LETBs and other LETBs around the UK, for several Medical Royal Colleges, for Kings College London School of Medicine and a variety of Trusts in the UK. Hayley has been the UK National Educator for ATLS™ for 8 years and chair of the European Educators group in ATLS™ Europe for over 6 years. She has spoken at international ATLS meetings on several occasions and contributed to the development of the Instructor course for the 9th edition of the ATLS™ programme. She is currently involved in the writing of a new chapter for the 10th edition on the ATLS™ Team.Hayley is a reviewer for Clinical Teacher journal.

    Lisa spent 20 years in clinical practice and then 20 years in surgical education. She has been immersed in both cultures and is, therefore, in a unique position to provide educational advice. Lisa has been a clinical educator since 1992. In that time she has trained over 8000 medical personnel from 59 countries. Previously, she had 20 years of trauma nursing experience in the UK and abroad. Lisa also has an MSc in Higher Professional Education.

    General Surgeon & Hon. Tutor


    After completing his medical studies and his exam at the University of Ulm / Germany in 1984 he received his board certification as a general surgeon in 1992. In the following 9 years he has been Senior physician and deputy Chief physician in the Department of Surgery and Traumatology in the hospital of Marktoberdorf/Germany. During the same time he was the Chief physician and Medical Director of the Emergency service of the region Ostallgäu being in charge of training and continuing education of specialist registrars. The position as Chief physician of the Department of Surgery and Traumatology in Eschenbach/Germany and as Medical Director and Chief physician in the Center for Rehabilitation and Preventive Medicine in Schwangau/Germany completed his clinical career.

    Since 2002 Dr. Redka-Swoboda is running workshops for dermal fillers and since the beginning of the TEOXANE Company he is one of the main speakers in Germany for TEOXANE products. From 2009 on going he is the consultant of TEOXANE Germany and Medical Director. His main speciality is risk management and dealing with side effects after filler treatment and meanwhile contact is made worldwide for his advice of adverse reactions. For TEOXANE Germany he is also in the function as the Scientific Director for all workshops and scientific meetings organised by the company, mostly certified by the responsible medical chambers. Dr. Redka-Swoboda is a member of several national and international medical associations, since 2013 he is running cadaver courses and lectures in cooperation with the Head Surgical Training Center of the Institute of Anatomy at the Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg / Austria. Dr. Redka-Swoboda is now practising in Munich/Germany as a free based aesthetic surgeon.

  • Elizabeth Raymond Brown

    Laser/ILS Training & Education Consultant, and Chartered Radiation Protection Professional (CRadP), MSRP, and RPA2000 Accredited Laser/ILS Protection Adviser.  PhD. PGCE, PG Dip.Clin.Ed., BSc. (Hons)


    Elizabeth is a qualified teacher and began her academic career at Loughborough University after completing her PhD in laser science there. As a lecturer in laser safety she was responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and professional short course development.  She moved to become Head of Lasers at Loughborough College and developed the first Level 4 BTEC qualifications in cosmetic laser therapies and laser safety management for doctors, nurses and therapists. Elizabeth continued to develop and deliver a number of customised qualifications for private training providers until 2011.

    Elizabeth acts as an educational consultant and tutor in the private, further and higher education sectors involved with Level 4-7 qualifications in non-surgical cosmetic interventions. She is a member of the JCCP Education and Training Committee and involved with development of National Occupational Standards and credentialing standards for the aesthetic sector.

    As an RPA2000 accredited Laser Protection Adviser, Elizabeth provides independent laser/ILS training and support services for private clinics, hospital laser departments and Local Authorities and delivers laser/light related training throughout the UK.

    Elizabeth has published learning resources, laser safety articles, authored book chapters and the HABIA Booklet ‘Safe Use of Laser/IPL Equipment’ and is a regular contributor to journals, manufacturer workshops and aesthetic events. In 2017, Elizabeth was awarded the Schuco International Award for Outstanding Achievement in Medical Aesthetics at the prestigious Aesthetics Awards.

  • Dr Rajan Sharma

    BDS (Lon) MFDS RCS (Eng)


    Dr Rajan Sharma is a surgical dentist and aesthetic practitioner.  He qualified from Guys Hospital in 2001 and was later awarded membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons England. As a dental surgeon Rajan has considerable experience in surgical dentistry and is competent to provide full mouth rehabilitations.  He has a particular interest in regenerative medicine treatments for oral surgery and its application in facial aesthetics. He uses PRP treatments on a daily basis and over the years has shaped his working practice to accommodate this. With this innovative biotechnology he has experienced very high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Mr Billy Leung

    MBBS BDS BSC MSC MRCS DOHNS, JUNIOR DOCTOR AND ANATOMY DEMONSTRATOR


    Billy Leung qualified as a doctor (MBBS) in 2011 from Barts & The London, where he also obtained an intercalated degree (BSc) in Sports & Exercise Medicine. After completing foundation training, he became an anatomy demonstrator at Kings College London and completed his master’s degree (MSc) in Plastic Surgery at UCL. In 2014, he started his core surgical training (CST) in Oxford, and attained his Membership of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and Diploma of Head & Neck Surgery (DOHNS) qualifications. After completing CST, he decided to embark in a career in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), thus commenced a 3-year dentistry programme (BDS) at Kings College London. Billy graduated from dental school this year. He is currently dually-qualified in medicine and dentistry, and hopes to apply to a specialist training post in due course.

    Billy has a strong passion for teaching and anatomy, in particular, the head and neck. He was formally the Surgical Anatomist (Chief Demonstrator) at the University of Oxford, assisting with the anatomy teaching. His roles included: teaching and facilitating anatomy sessions, liaising with senior teaching staff and demonstrators, preparing teaching materials (including resources and prosections), and assisting with research projects. Billy hopes to explore the usage of newer educational technologies, such as 3D printing and 4D visual platforms. He is currently training to become a medical illustrator, and he hopes to integrate his artistic flair into these educational platforms.

  • Dr Stephanie Munn

    BSc, MBBS, FRCP, Consultant Dermatologist


    Dr Stephanie Munn was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist to Bromley Hospitals Trust in 1999.  She developed the skin cancer service for the area by setting up a multidisciplinary team and dedicated skin cancer clinics in response to the NICE IOG for skin cancer. She was Skin Cancer Lead for many years before being appointed as Clinical Director for Ambulatory Services from 2008-2010.  She was also chair of the Skin Tumour Working Group for the South East Cancer Network for 3 years from 2001.

    In 2010, she became Clinical Lead for Dermatology for South London Healthcare Trust. In 2013 she stood down as Clinical Lead and extended her private practice to in London.  She resigned from the NHS in 2014 and is now Clinical Lead for Dermatology setting up and running mole screening services, as well as on-site general Dermatology clinics. Her main areas of interest are skin cancer screening and early diagnosis of melanoma and she has conducted a trial comparing Siascope mole examination with face–to-face consultation. She is also interested in acne and PCOS and general skin conditions. She has always loved teaching and is mentor to 3 GPs with Special Interest, holding monthly training clinics. She has taught on GP courses as well as training for Allied Health Professionals.

  • Isabel Lavers

    RGN, INP, BSc


    Isobel Lavers trained as an RGN in Germany and qualified in 1991 before moving to the UK in 1997.  She worked with Polly Buchanan in Dermatology at Salisbury District hospital, before taking lead roles in infection control and moving to Manchester and worked for Trafford and Manchester PCT. She joined Galderma, providing Dermatology training and education for healthcare professionals. She taught and assessed PDT skills, both conventional and daylight PDT. She completed the detmoscopy basic training with dermoscopy uk. She has written articles and spoken at conferences. She works with Salford Royal Dermatology running a drug monitoring clinic and has her own clinic since November 2015.

  • Paula Oliver

    Dermatology Nurse Consultant


    Paula qualified as a nurse in 1979 at The Royal Devon and Exeter hospital and has worked for many years in secondary care, as well as in primary care as a District Nurse. In 1994 her career pathway moved her into dermatology and Paula became the lead CNS in a busy dermatology OPD and developed many nurse led initiatives. More recently Paula worked for Galderma (UK) Ltd and managed and led the UK nursing team for Galderma. This successful role entailed delivering education to HCPs on general dermatology, skin cancer and photodynamic therapy. Paula has recently moved into an independent consultancy role in Dermatology to deliver education, service development and clinical care.

    Paula maintains an honorary contract with Sussex Community Dermatology Service and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust where she maintains direct clinical contact with dermatology patients. She has published several articles relating to dermatological conditions and has completed a Diploma in Nursing, BSc (Hons) in Professional Practice, Master of Science in Clinical Studies and Education at University of Brighton and is an Independent Nurse Prescriber. She is currently an active member of the British Dermatology Nursing Group. Paula is passionate about dermatology nursing and improving the lives of patients with skin conditions, particularly through educating other health care professionals.
