INTRODUCTION

Teaching others is an art that comes naturally to few, but is a skill that you can learn. Such skills are important for those you in providing training in Aesthetics. Others often judge our competence, based on our presentation skills. Effective presentation is the ability to communicate to your audience in a way that produces a change in their understanding or opinion.

Preparation is key to success, and a structured approach is essential. Often the trainer focuses on passing as much information to the audience as possible, with little thought given to what they hope the learners will achieve, what they want participants to do, how can they establish rapport quickly and effectively, or which visual aids work best.

For Key Opinion Leaders, and Aesthetic Trainers, excellent teaching and presentation skills are essential, for practitioners communicating with your patients and staff is invaluable in getting the best outcomes. This blended learning programme, with a one day face to face session to complete the course will be structured around the needs of the organization and you, it addresses the Train Aesthetic Trainers requirements for Aesthetic Trainers, ideal for established KOL’s or those aspiring to be KOL’s or trainers.

As this is a highly interactive programme, you will be expected to use the online learning resource, participate in 3 or 4 virtual group meetings, and prepare activities prior to attending the face to face day to present these as part of the teaching practice.

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  1. Structure preparation
  2. Prepare effective visual aids
  3. Engage quickly and effectively
  4. Structure practical demonstrations
  5. Integrate tips and tricks into delivery
  6. Deal with questions and interaction
  7. Draft written evidence to support a request for recognition as an aesthetics trainer.
