Course Description:

A highly specialised expert face and neck anatomy teaching, led by qualified anatomist and Consultant plastic Surgeon Mr Dalvi Humzah. This multi-award winning teaching is divided into 2 sessions; the morning encompasses lecures and discussion on the current anatomical literature and developments relating to all aspects of head & neck anatomy most pertinent to the non-surgical clinician.

The afternoon session explores in detail the upper face (including the tear trough and peri ocular anatomy), the lower face and neck. Delegates will then spend the afternoon in a practical hands-on dissection, exploring in detail the anatomy of the full face. Unembalmed tissue is used to expose each anatomical area and Mr Humzah will discuss technical considerations when treating using non-surgical devices; (blunt cannulae, needle & injectate) in relation to the anatomy. Adequate time is permitted during and after the session to allow for discussion as this is an interactive, hands-on session.

Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training has won 'Best Independent Training Provider' for 5 consecutive years; 2013-17 & winner of MyFaceMyBody 'Best Independent Training Provider' 2016, as well as 'Professional Initiative of The Year' at the Aesthetic Awards 2018 for innovative collaboration in a published consensus guideline for managing blindness (AVIIL).

Mr Dalvi Humzah is a Consultant Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon and has developed his aesthetic practice over 18 years to combine surgical and non-surgical procedures for his patients. He has a BSc in Anatomy and an MBA, and is fully registered with the General Medical Council and holds a licence to practice medicine; his name appears on their Specialist Register for PLASTIC SURGERY.

Mr Dalvi Humzah is a multi-award winning Tutor with a National and International presence in the field of Aesthetics. He has extensive experience in the management and treatment of non-surgical complications, performing non-surgical treatments for over 25 years. He is an internationally acclaimed expert facial anatomist and a recognised national and international tutor.
Mr Dalvi Humzah has an active interest in teaching and training and has been a Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is an examiner for the Intercollegiate MRCS for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. He is currently a Regional Advisor for The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. 

Mr Dalvi Humzah is a Global Key Opinion Leader for a number of companies in the Aesthetic Sector. He has published extensively while actively teaching, training and lecturing nationally and internationally. He is the Aesthetics Sub-Editor for PMFA News and is on the Editorial Advisory Board for Aesthetics. He holds Consultancy roles in the management of complications and provides advice to several aesthetic pharmaceutical companies and has been involved in the research and development of many injectable products. He has a keen interest in non-surgical rejuvenation and regularly teaches and lectures internationally on facial anatomy in relation to cosmetic rejuvenation with extensive experience in a variety of injectable products.
